So my brother Jacob told me that people are still posting at a Myspace that used to belong to a friend of ours. By used to, I mean that he’s dead. I thought it was odd, so I looked up a few somethings about eMemorials. There are sites for ememorials to help the living through their grief, sites for soldiers who died in Iraq, and ememorials for pets, of course.

In an episode of the X-Files entitled Killswitch, written by William Gibson (w00t), a couple try to upload their consciousnesses onto the internet. This whole ememorial thing reminds me of that…

ABC’s The One: Making a Music Star

So ABC’s coming out with this American Idol-esque show to air during the summertime, and a boy I grew up with, Jeremiah Richey, is going to be on it. The premiere airs tonight on ABC (check your local listings… I’ve always wanted to say that) and vote for him, even if he’s not the best one.

My friend Sari (yes; a real-life geographically proximal friend!) posted a bulletin at Myspace that I stole, filled out, and will X-post here.
